Smoky Sticky BBQ Tempeh

This Smoky Sticky BBQ Tempeh is bold, savoury, and packed with rich barbecue flavour. Crisp on the outside and tender in the middle, it’s an easy plant-based dish that works just as well in bowls, sandwiches, or served with your favourite sides.

Serves 2-3
Ingredients for the marinade:
2 blocks of 200g tempeh. https://www.protempeh.com/product-page/2kg-10-x-200g-fresh-frozen-organic-tempeh
3 tbsp BBQ sauce.
2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari.
1 tbsp honey.
1 tbsp olive oil.
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.
1 tsp smoked paprika.
1 small garlic clove, minced or 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
Black pepper, to taste.
Recipe:
Whisk the marinade ingredients together.
Cut tempeh into slices, then coat well in the marinade.
Marinate for at least 20 to 60 minutes, or longer if you have time.
Grill over medium heat until lightly charred, brushing with extra marinade if desired
