How we deliver your tempeh

Your order is packed in an insulated cooler box with an ice pack to keep it at the right temperature throughout transit. We use DPD's chilled next-day service so your tempeh arrives fresh and ready to use.

Delivery costs

  • Free delivery on all orders from £48
  • Standard chilled delivery: £5.90 for orders under £48

Order cut-off & dispatch days

We dispatch Monday to Thursday only. We don't ship on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, so your parcel never sits in a depot over the weekend. If you order before 12pm on a dispatch day, we aim to ship the same day.

Delivery day

You'll receive an email and text from DPD with your tracking number and a 1-hour delivery slot once your order has been collected. Most orders arrive the next working day.

What if my tempeh arrives slightly thawed?

Don't worry, this is normal for chilled deliveries in summer. As long as the outer packaging is intact and the product smells and looks fine, it's safe to freeze immediately on arrival or keep in the fridge and eat within 5 days. If you have any concerns, contact us at info@protempeh.com and we'll sort it out.

Returns & refunds

Our tempeh is a fresh, perishable food, so we can't accept returns once an order has been delivered. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

If something isn't quite right, we'll put it right. Email info@protempeh.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a short description of the problem, and photos of the product and packaging. We'll send a free replacement or give you a refund.

We'll replace or refund your order if:

  • your parcel arrives damaged, or the packaging has been opened
  • the product is faulty or doesn't look or smell right on arrival
  • an item is missing or you received the wrong product
  • your order arrives more than 2 working days after we dispatched it

What we can't cover: change of mind, delays caused by an incorrect delivery address, missed deliveries after DPD has attempted delivery, or products not stored as instructed after they arrive.

Refunds go back to your original payment method.
